"I do not feel obliged to believe that the same God who has endowed us with sense, reason, and intellect has intended us to forgo their use."

Charities We Support

Brian H. Early Foundation

The mission of the Brian H. Early Foundation is to provide housing and support to patients and families who need to travel far from home for medical care due to illness, injury or disease. We do this by:

  • Helping to fund organizations that provide patient and family support programs.
  • Awarding stipends to families in need of food, lodging or transportation through a network of hospitals and rehabilitation centers.
  • Reinforcing the importance of family during the treatment, healing and recovery processes through awareness and outreach programs.
About Brian
November 21, 2007, Brian climbed into the pilot’s seat of his single-engine plane bound for West Point, NY with his son, Jason, and his son’s friend, Sean Sutherland on board. Around 1:45 am, the plane crashed in the woods near Stewart International Airport, Newburgh, NY, killing him instantly and critically injuring Jason and Sean. In the weeks and months that followed, Kathy, Jason and Molly Early clung to the powers of family, faith and fortitude – virtues inspired by the man they loved and so tragically lost.
